.APP Developer ( Monthly Retainer)
Key Responsibilities
Mobile App Development (Flutter)
● Build, maintain, and update the Maraya app using Flutter
● Implement new features
● Integrate with APIs, databases, and admin dashboards
● Ensure speed, responsiveness, and smooth UX
● Ensure compliance with:
○ Apple App Store requirements
○ Google Play requirements
Backend Integration
● Integrate Flutter frontend with backend technologies such as:
○ Ruby on Rails
○ Node.js
Python
○ Any new backend used by the Client
● Work with APIs, authentication, payment gateways
● Manage application environments (staging/production)
Cloud & Infrastructure
● Deploy, monitor, and maintain servers on:
○ DigitalOcean
○ AWS
○ Or other cloud providers used by Maraya
● Troubleshoot server issues and downtime
Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
● Fix bugs discovered within 30 days
● Monitor logs, performance, crashes
● Ensure secure coding practices
Documentation
● Write full technical documentation for:
○ System architecture
○ Code logic
○ Dependencies
○ Deployment processes
Version Control
● Use GitHub or GitLab
● Maintain organized commit history
● Ensure the Client has full access to all repositories
Technical Skills Required
● Flutter (mandatory)
● Dart
● Backend awareness (Node.js / Ruby on Rails / Python)
● API development & integration
● Cloud hosting experience (DigitalOcean, AWS)
● Git / GitHub
● Understanding of App Store & Google Play submission processes
Deliverables Expected
● Daily/weekly updates
● Documented commits
● Stable app versions
● Full code handover upon request
● Fixing bugs within 30 days
Monthly Retainer Model
● Fixed monthly fee for continued development and maintenance
● Contractor must be available for urgent fixes
