Job Vacancy: Finance Officer - Damascus

Summary:
We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our team in Damascus. The Finance Officer will be responsible for producing quality financial information, ensuring the application of local rules and donor regulations, and contributing to project budget and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to budget management, financial reporting, and regular monitoring.
- Oversee financial management of institutional funding and ensure donor compliance.
- Support partners in financial matters and build their capacity.
- Contribute to emergency preparedness and response.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in finance or accounting, with experience in humanitarian, NGO, or donor-funded environments.
- Skills: Practical knowledge of institutional donor rules, experience with Financial Information Systems (FIS) and cost accounting.
- Language: Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Competencies: Strong analytical and reporting skills, ability to work collaboratively and adapt to complex humanitarian contexts.
